I tested Walmart’s brand of bottled water and I was shocked to see they sell the most toxic water ever. I tested for Total Dissolved Solids using a TDS meter and the number I got was 271. THAT IS THE MOST TOXIC WATER I HAVE EVER SEEN. Even NYC tap water TDS score is 39. Poland Spring is 42. The water is not even drinkable. I think it’s Criminal to even make profits from selling this water filled with sodium fluoride and who knows what else is in that. 500 ppm (parts per million) is the EPA Maximum but even though the FDA is corrupt their recommended is 000, which is pure.

THE ONLY BOTTLED WATER THAT READS 000 IS DUANEreade/Walgreens ‘NICE’ branded water.

As somebody who actually tests a lot of drinking water and waste water on a daily basis, I know that you are never going to get municipal drinking water that reads 0 TDS. 271 is totally within the safe drinking limit. TDS is simply the total dry weight of dissolved solids in a sample (salts for the most part). There are people who sell water that is heavily deionized (have a TDS of <10) at a premium to chemistry labs like the one I work at. Normal tap water is going to be around 50-200 in most places. Honestly, you shouldn’t drink completely deionized water because the ions (these are the dissolved solids) are used by your body for a lot of important stuff. This also goes to show that bottled water isn’t some sort of magical substance (in some cases it might be better than your tap water, but not necessarily. Instead set a pitcher of tap water in your fridge which will improve a lot of low quality tap water).
